Cant connect from windows client to linux domino server

hi all,

having problem trying to connect from windows client to linux domino server.

I can ping the server either by ip address and server name. But when i try to connect by ip address i got “unable to find path to server” and if i try using server name i got “(The server is not responding. The server may be down or you may be experiencing network problems. Contact your system administrator if this problem persists.)”.

OS = redhat enterprise 2.1

Domino = 6.5.1

Can anyone tell me what’s going wrong?? Appreciate your reply.

A wild shot:

Did you open the proper ports on your Linux box? Maybe you’ve accidentally enabled the firewall so it is blocking your way to the server.
