Hi
I have a form and when I create a new document all is well, but when I edit the document I get the error “Notes error - cannot locate field”.
How do I find out which field causes the error???

This could be the result of a computed field trying to access something or maybe a shared field that has been removed from the form? I’ve had that error message for both of those situations.
I don’t know of an easy way to find the field causing the error, I would suggest checking the shared fields and computed fields.
I’ve often just cut out chunks of a form and tested it and if the error still occurs, just paste that chunck back and repeat. Eventually this can narrow down the problem area.
