I just recently upgraded my server to Domino 6.5.5. Since then, I’ve been unable to install the Domino Web Access 6 control on my laptop running Windows XP SP2. I have at least one other user (probably more) that cannot install it either. Whenever I open an e-mail with an attachment or compose a new e-mail, I get the following prompt:
“The installation of the iNotes 6 class has been blocked or declined by the user. Do you want to use this on subsequent Domino Web Access Pages?”
I am never prompted to install the Domino Web Access 6 Control and I don’t see the yellow bar at the top of the window indicating it is blocked. There is a very brief flicker and shift of the page that seems like the yellow bar was displayed for just an instant.
I have searched everywhere for a solution and I’ve tried everything recommended, but nothing has made a difference. In particular, I have enabled “Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls”, “Download signed ActiveX controls”, and “Run ActiveX controls and plugins”, but still no luck.
Has anyone had this problem and resolved it?
