"Cannot access printer or print driver (may be due to insufficient memory)"

When I try to print any email from Lotus Notes 6.5 I get the following error

“Cannot access printer or print driver (may be due to insufficient memory)”

I can print from any other app on the PC to the same printer .

Hey Guy

After alot of trial and error I think I have come up with a Resolution to this problem

Resolution

  1. Clear all files from Folder

Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp

  1. Clear all files from

    c:\windows\temp

  2. Possible Make user a Local Admin on local pc

All of this should fix the problem

At least it did for me.

I have the same error from time to time. I’m an domain adminstrator but still gets this error efter I’ve delete the temp folder.

We had this problem before and was advised to insert the following line in our notes.ini:

DisablePrinterFonts=1

It helped a bit but now we’re seeing the problem again.

Any ideas?

We’re running 6.5.5.
