Can you disable "Narrow Mode"?

We have several individuals here who, due to poor eyesight, need very large monitors with 800x600 resolution to be able to read text on the screen. Unfortunately, this new version of the notes client seems to think this is too small of a resolution so it switches into narrow mode. Those users do not like “narrow mode” at all, they want the column headers and do not like thins “jumbled together”, and want it back the way it was.

I was able to get the column headers back by shrinking down the left sidebar enough for them to reappear, but now their left sidebar shows only the icon and the first 4-5 characters of each thing. Its very hard for them to navigate nested folders this way.

Long story for a short question, can you disable the automatic “narrow mode”?

Subject: Turning Off Narrow Mode

Turning off the capability of the client to display in narrow mode must be done using Designer. While this features effectively acts as a capability of the view, the actual changes need to be made at the column design level. For example, in the typical Inbox, there are a few columns which may have the ‘Wrap to second row’ attribute set (see picture below.) By changing this attribute to ‘Do nothing’ for each of these, you can turn off narrow view for a particular view. Unfortunately there is no global manner in which to accomplish this; this needs to be done for each view where narrow mode is not desired.
