I want all emails sent to external addresses to have an animated .gif file added to the bottom, so that those who receive the message will see the .gif file without having to open the file (like all of the spam messages I receive daily).
The .gif file will be changed periodically as well, as it is an advertisement. I can’t use a signature file, since that will append the .gif file to ALL messages, not just those which are external.

Hi Jeff,I would also suggest you don’t do that. Your emails migh go the way of the bin very fast. However you can any time use a manual signature that you insert. Or use the disclaimer function of your virus scanner to do so. If you feel you want to travel that plank: better poin to a location on your internet server instead of sending the GIF as attachment. This way also old messages will always reflect the current promotion.
But think about it: when I open a mail with flashy graphics in it, I press delete and then think .
