Can we display the geolocation of each users with Sametime limited 11.5 ?

At the moment, we can see the user status: Available @new location

Usually, this information is shown according to what each user has defined in their "preferences>>geographic location", check the image. After the user sets this information, others will be able to see his location properly.

I don't have Geographic Location in my Notes client 11.0.1

Maybe I need to upgrade the client ?

The first image I sent is from the ST stand-alone client, if you are using the ST embedded client the option is available on "Preferences >> Sametime >> Geographic Location"

I don't have the location in my Notes client ... I have update this morning my client to version 12.... and it's the same menu for Sametime. Could it be possible that I need to activate a configuration on my sametime server ?

Maybe this option has been disabled by a desktop policy on your environment...I recommend that you open a ticket with HCL Support team to investigate and validate your settings.

Found it interesting but I check this setting under PREFERENCES in three machines (with 12.0, 11.0.1FP3 and 10.0.1F7 installed in it).

Couldnot find any setting with name "GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION" under "SAMETIME" in "PREFERENCES". I am sure there is no dektop policy as such in my environment.

In the past this has been a feature only available in the paid Sametime version. I would expect that you have to enable the use of "enhanced features" in the integrated Notes client BUT this could be a license term violation (although I am not up-to-date what is allowed with Limited Use now). We still have some Sametime Sametime Advanced licenses so few users can do little more than the rest.

im.3000.label = Allow all Sametime Connect features to be used with integrated clients (IC)

which sounds suspicious if we talk about missing menu settings.

Unfortunately there does not seem to be a license category between Limited User and Premium anymore.
