We may have to enable Reader access to all users’ mail databases in order that calendar doclinks work.
The default ACL is currently set to User=Manager, LocalDomainServers=Manager, ourserver=Manager. (We only have 1 server so LocalDomainServers is basically the same as ourserver.) How can we change all users’ ACLs if we, as Administrators, do not have any rights to the dbs? Can we use the server console in some way? If not, can we use the AS/400 “green screen” to issue the appropriate command?
Thanks.

Put your Admin group in the “Full Access Administrators” field on the Server’s security document.

What Chris said - or put yourself in the LocalDomainServers group… temporarily of course.

Is the full access thingy available in V5 ?
I added myself to the domain servers, when does this become active ?

This feature is not in R5.
If you’ve added yourself to LocalDomainServers, it should work instantly. Sometimes it can be neccessary to do a view refresh of names.nsf, by pressing ctrl shift F9 for instance. Also, you should logoff/logon to Notes for any change in rights to become active.
Don’t forget LocalDomainServers might be defined as a Server Group in lots of ACL’s. You, being a person and not a server, may not have access after all.
