Hi All,
I have Editor access to the notes database, and I can create a new document of FormA. There is reader field and author field in this document, when I save it, the two fields are containing my name/role. And in FormA’s security tab, I have checked "All authors and above " can create documents.
But, when I save the new document, an error dialogbox will appear: “You are not authorized to perform that operation”. I debug the code in query_close event, the error occurs at the position of “call doc.save()”.
What’s the problem? How to solve it? Any idea is highly appreciated.

Solved. Thanks for Ravi Mogallapu.
The problem is all because of another reader field, which does not contain my name/role. Before I close this new document, I press Ctrl+S casually. So the document is saved without having my name/role in reader fields. When closing it, another reader field is set to be my name/role, but it’s already late, I have no privilege to save it now. So the error dialogbox appears.
That’s all.
