We are having issue, some of user complaint that they can not receive email from some people, and the error message was :

Error transferring to xxxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx; SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 554 5.7.1 This message has been blocked because the HELO/EHLO domain is invalid.

but testing send and receive from other like yahoo or gmail are ok

pls help.

Subject: Reverse DNS ?

Also - many services, AOL in particular, won’t accept mail unless you have reverse DNS set up properly.

Sounds like they have implimneted some sort of anti-spam

Is the hostanme and domain of your server valid ?
