Can not add local update site to updatesite.nsf

HiI try to add a new widget through the updatesite.nsf, but whenever I try to add the site.xml to the updatesite, I have a java failure.

Notes error in ‘Updatesite’

LS2J Error: Java constructor failed to execute (304)

ls2jclassprogressdialog: cprogressdialog::new (line 33)

lsclassimportui: cimportui::importsite (line 110)

dlgimportsite: queryclose (line 13)

Any idea how to fix it?

Subject: I can install the widgets by local plugin or drag the install.xml for url, could you provide your steps to me? Thanks.

  1. I downloaded the plugin and tried File install - The widgets works

  2. I drag the “install.xml” icon from below URL, it works, would you please kindly let me know your steps/server info? Thanks!

Subject: I reproduced the issue on Mac 8.5.2 CD2, open SPR ZHLI7ZLCMX for LS dev to investigate.

Subject: Not Supported on Mac

The updatesite.ntf template isn’t supported on the Mac client, Notes may fail to import into certain Eclipse Update Site database on Mac. User can import into such Eclipse Update Site database on Windows.
