Can the Mail Rules on the Domino 6.5 Server return a more descriptive message to the person that is denied sending the document.When people send us mail that is rejected it says “DOCUMENT HAS BEEN REJECTED BY MAIL RULE”.
It would be helpful if it also said " Attachment is EXE" or something like that. Many of the users are unsure why the mail is returned.

I can see why this could be useful, when legitimate email from a business relation is rejected. But I’m not sure I would want anyone out there to know exactly what I’m filtering and how I do that. Of course someone of ill will probably can figure it out quite easy, but hey, why help?

The reason I ask the question is that it appears that I am spending a lot of time answering staff questions as to why they did not receive an e-mail. They never ask the sender if there is an attachment, even though I have spent many hours trying to educate. I don’t want to move the mail to a “GRAVEYARD” database, as I did originally, as there was too much junk. If I reject the mail and journal the message is there enough information to identify why it was not delivered.
