Hi there,
I’m totally new to API-calls, so excuse me if this is a dumb question.
I needed to know the date added in this file property of a document in an agent.
I searched this forum and I found the very usefull solution of Rod Whiteley here .
This works great when I start the agent from my desktop (Windows XP). However I want to use this functionality in a sheduled agent running on the server, which is an AS/400 machine running OS/400.
Has anyone any idea how to convert this code for OS/400? Or how I can retrieve the date added in this file on OS/400?
Many thanks in advance!

I posted a reply to your question in that thread, didn’t it work?

Hi Mika,
I’m sorry, I didn’t see your post, you must have posted it while I was writing this one.
And I wrote this one because I thought nobody read replies but only new threads (I confess I always do it this way). I suppose it’s against the forum etiquette, so I apologise for this.
Anyway, thank you for your answer !
I modified the code like you suggested, but it didn’t work
In the log-file I see “AddedToFile: begin” but no “AddedToFile: end”. Both lines are at the very beginning resp. end of the AddedToFile function. And the function results in an empty string, which - of course - causes errors in the code that follows. As told before, I get no indication of what might cause the problem, although I do error trapping.
Any idea what’s going wrong?
Kind regards,
ilse

Can you use the Domino Designer’s Debugger on OS/400? There you should see what each line does and on which line it fails.
