Can I trigger an agent to auto run upon a user signing on to lotus notes

I am using an electronic In/Out Board which has significantly simplified that process for my salaried personnel. But good isn’t usually good enough for long. So, here’s the question… Can I trigger an agent to run based on a user signing on to their client session? I was thinking that I could put some sort of a command in the individual Notes.ini files, but I have been unable to come up with a solution. The shared agent (InOffice) resides on a domino server. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, Doug

What is the first thing they see in the Notes Client, is it a user interface or the workspace? There must be a way because the log knows when a session is opened or closed.

Have you selected “Enable scheduled local agents” in the preferences? If you have, then you should be able to have an agent that kicks in on Notes startup. I believe you can schedule it that way via actions.
