Can I tell view to expand specific category?

I tried to use the view open function, but it did not expand my documents to certain level I want.

My view something like this:

Category 1

Category 2

Cateogry 3

   Category 4

I want my view to expand at category 3 only. However, I cannot find any formula that allow me to do this, so I wonder is this possible in the first place? As I don’t want cateogry 4 to be expanded, the document should be expand at category 3 only. Cateogry 4 to be collapsed.

What about for the same column, there is different name for Category 3, how do I tell it is the 3rd child to be expanded to, after that, all to be collapsed.

Example: my Category 3 can have : Eastern, WEstern, Northern, I do not need my view to expand further down to document level. How to reference to 3rd level?

Open the view to the category you want, collapse all, and then expand the selected category thus:

@Command([OpenView]; “My View”; “Category 3”);

@Command([ViewCollapseAll]) ;

@Command([ViewExpand])

Since Category 3 derives from my column, my column is assigned to a formula, so I put in the name of category as it appear in the view, not the field or column name right? (or programmatic pane…)

Hoped this time it works…

Instead of the text string “Category 3”, put the name of that field.Calling “ViewCollapseAll” is optional of course.

e.g. assuming the field is named “Category”

@Command([OpenView]; “My View”; Category);

@Command([ViewCollapseAll]) ;

@Command([ViewExpandWithChildren] )
