The DBMT tool perform copy style compaction along with the other process such as

• runs copy-style compact operations
• purges deletion stubs
• expires soft deleted entries
• updates views
• reorganizes folders
• merges full-text indexes
• updates unread lists

No, you cant. Only compact -c is supported in dbmt
