When I call NotesInitExtended(), a console window opens with a password prompt. I’m developing a Win32 GUI application, and I really need to be able to prevent the console window.
I can avoid the password prompt by checking “Don’t prompt for a password from other Notes-based programs” in Notes and making sure Notes is running before I run my program, but I can’t guarantee those conditions on all user systems.
Is there some way I can cause the call to fail rather than prompting, or detect prior to calling it that it will prompt for a password?
