I just upgraded to 8.0.1 last night for the server and the client. I thought one of the new features in the client was the ability to have folders stay expanded when close and reopen the client and/or the mail file. I’ve upgraded the design and the ODS and have seen no change.
Am I wrong that this is something we finally have without changing the design?

I’m not sure what it means to you that folders “stay expanded.” What exactly did you see that made you think this was a feature of 8.0? Can you supply a link?
This is not my area – sounds like a mail template/outline thing and I work on Designer – but if there were a little more detail I could pass it on to someone who might know what’s up.

I don’t recall seeing the expanded folders anywhere but I thought I heard it was in the new code.
If I’m to move my Outlook users over they are going to expect a few simple things like being able to expand all the folders they make and have them stay open the next time they open Notes. I’m using the new client exclusively now and that’s really the only glaring difference I’ve found and I know my users will also wonder about that.
