Hi,
we would like to have a notification for new mail in the Apple MacOS notification center. Does anyone have a widget for this or do we have another technique to inform the user about new mail?

Would like a notification on Notification Center using HCL Notes Client, Apple Mail accessing a Domino Mail Server via IMAP, another mail client, etc?

sorry, if have not been clear enough.
Requirements:
1. If Notes (11.x) is installed and running and a new mail notification would fire in the Notes client, the user wants to see this in the BIG Sur notification center. This requirement has higher priority than the following one.
2. If Notes is installed and NOT running and a new mail notification would fire in the notes client, the user wants to see this in the BIG Sur notification center.

For now, there are some "notification" options on HCL Notes Client 11.x.
Using a Mac, under HCL Notes > Preferences > Mail > Sending and Receiving, you can see the screen below:
Under "Alerts" you can choose one of the three options:
Show a popup
Slide in summary
No Alert
Additionally, if you select the option "Display an icon in the menu bar", when you have Notes Client open and received a mail message, an icon will be presented on MacOS menu bar like below:
Due to my MacOS theme, the icon is not so clear, but clicking over this icon, you go directly to Notes Client.
I know that it is not the same available under "Notification Center" but it is the option available right now.
I strongly suggest you to create an Idea under "HCL #dominoforever Product Ideas Portal" with your requirements related to Notification Center:

thank you for your answer. This helps in some way.
As I am not an expert in widgets, I think it might be possible to create a Notes widget that can be incorporated into the notification center. What we need is firstly expertise in Mac widgets and then secondly in Notes development.
Is there is anybody out there who can provide us with some hints?
