Hi @All.I want to use a calendar server for two non-adjacent domains.
My szenario:
People from Domain A and B (non-adjacent) should check the free times from the calendars of Domain B and A. The calender server should be in Domain C (a Gateway-Server).
here is what I tried (without success):
1.) Domain A have a adjacent(!) domain document to the calender server (Domain C) and a non-adjacent domain document to the Domain B. In the non-adjacent document is an entry in the tab “calender info” for the calender server in domain C.
2.) The same just for Domain B.
3.) Domain C has two adjacent domain documents. One for Domain A, one for Domain B.
That’s it.
Okay some more infos:
-
connections works correct (A-C, B-C)
-
cross certification (A-C, B-C)
-
server access works correct (A and B have access at C.)
Thanks for all answers, hints etc.
Subject: calendar server in non-adjacent domains
Hello,we made the same system. All works properly with this system of passthru except for one thing : we can’t see freetime infos for users of the other domain (users of A can’t see infos of C users and users of C can’t see infos of B users!)
The task CalCon is activated on each server (A B and C), and each user can access the calendar of another user (on all servers, and it works).
Would you know how to resolve it ??
Thanks !!!
Subject: RE: calendar server in non-adjacent domains
What I tried in the last days (without success. A-Users can’t check the freetime of C-Users):I create A and C domains as adjacent domains (a,b and c domains are test-domains
) and it works!!! But that’s just possible for the test enviroment.
In our productive systems I have to configure the non-adjacent domains.
Any hints? Anybody?
