C# Send email by Notes Client

Hi,

I am trying to send email through Lotus client using C#. I am using a POP3 server and not Lotus server.

oNotesDatabase = oNotesSession.GetDatabase(“”,“”,false);

An error occurs after the above line that says that “A database name must be provided”. What do I need to do to get the above statement working. We are not using Lotus server for sending email.

No third party tools please, code help appreciated.

hi,you must define database name (nsf file):

oNotesSession.GetDatabase(“”,“c:\myDbFile.nsf”,false);

or just use the following code:

NotesDbDirectory nDbDir = oNotesSession.GetDbDirectory(“Local”);

nDatabase = nDbDir.OpenMailDatabase();
