C++ API about MIME

Dear sir, I have tried for about one week to work with “convent rtf to html(mime)” format, but failed.

My thinkroad is as following:

1, create a mail document.

2, open the form which used by the document, and find the “Body” form field, and set to " store conetent as html/mime"

3, save the form.

4, get the document’s “Body” item, and append some html code, such as

    <html> <title> hello, I am tag</title><body>Yes, you are</body></html>

but this doesn’t work.

When I create a new mail in notes, write any thing, notes will send that as mime content. So, I think, the form has been changed success, but why I couldn’t send html code with c++ API.

Could you give me some guide or a little code to demostrate this.

Your reply will be great appriated.

Thanks and regards!

Subject: c++ API about MIME

The problem is that you need to open the document without converting the MIME to rich text. In the C API, there is a flag on the NSFNoteOpenExt which will let you open without converting, but I am not sure in the C++ API.

For what it is worth, if you want to do this more easily, our Midas Rich Text C++ API can make it very easy to create MIME messages, either by converting rich text to high quality MIME or simply by creating a MIME message with html tags directly. The Midas product is a third party product, so would cost something, but if you have spent a week on this already, it might be worth considering.
