Before, I have successfully implemented the setting of EDIT_NO_SOFT_LOCKS=1 in Notes client 6.5 .But setting is not effective in my recently upgraded Notes client 8.5.
Is it a bug of version 8 or is there any workaround of it?

Subject: Bypass Softlock sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t
In prior releases of the database with template v7 it worked like a charme. After update the same database with template 8.5.1 softlocking works not reliable, sometimes it does and sometimes other users can edit the same document which is in edit mode by someone else. Any ideas?
