Some user’s busytime is appearing 1 hour out (for their set lunch time, for example)…they have their schedule set in their calendar profile for 8am-12pm - 1pm-4pm. If you try to book a meeting with them and check their schedule, they appear to be unavailable from 1pm to 2pm, not 12pm to 1pm.
I found in busytime that the “TimeZone” field of their record displays funky results for them:
TimeZone —> “Z=5$DO=1$DL=4 1 1 10 -1 1$ZX=25$ZN=Eastern”
Mine is working ok and I know my PC is patched and Notes settings are ok (use OS timezone). My busytime record shows this value–> “Z=5$DO=1$DL=3 2 1 11 1 1$ZX=28$ZN=Eastern”
I wonder if the user’s PCs aren’t patched (they say they are), or they have their Notes prefs set to not use the OS timezone?
Any ideas folks?
Thanks!
Pat

The fact you’re seeing DL=4 1 1 means LN doesn’t see the patch applied.
I had a few people who DID apply the patch but never rebooted their PC. Therefore WIndows and LN did not see the changes.

Hello,
It’s certainly a DST issue. I would recommend checking the 2 things you listed starting with verifying the system time.

Hi Pat,
Seems to be similar:
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=899&uid=swg21256439
If you ask your users to create a calendar entry, what will be the value of the SatrtTimeZone\EndTImeZone fileds?

Both fields say: “Z=5$DO=1$DL=3 2 1 11 1 1$ZX=28$ZN=Eastern”
Do you think rebuilding busytime.nsf on all servers will fix this problem?
Thanks!

Hi Pat,
It would be a good idea to rebuild the busytime.
Just a quick test, can you issue a : Show config DstLaw on your server console?
Is it the right value?

yes …both are DST=1 (clustered mail servers)
