Hi all,
did anybody had an issue like this:
A user has imported a holiday set.
After that, when somebody invites him to a meeting, his busy times are not shown in the “Find Available Times” view of the meeting, although he is very busy.
He seems to be available the whole time.
We did all the steps explained in TecNote 1141060 (except step 3), but this didn’t resolve the issue.
The only thing to make his busy times visible is to edit an save every entry in his calendar, but due to the high amount of calender entries, this seems to be almost impossible.
Tanks in advance for any response
Christian
Subject: Check the busytime dB
Before you have them retouch every entry in their Calendar take a look at the busytime dB on their Home Server. How many docs do you see for the user?
If more than one then the problem is due to NSF forgetting that Schedule Manager already created a busytime record and so Sched created a new one (but it did not repopulate it because it does not think it missed any data). If you are in this boat then the answer is to remove ALL the records for the user and restart Sched.
You should note that if one user had that issue then its likely others do too so rebuilding busytime per the published TechNote is the better solution here.
If you only have 1 record for the user then something caused it to become empty or incomplete. You can check by issuing a show command for the user to see what entries are on their busytime record. Do any entries show up?
If this does not help you then contact Technical Support and they can help figure out what happened and how to get things back on track.
