When upgrading to domino 7.0.2 i get an error message saying that it couldn’t load library libsybct when running ndctest.exe we solved the problem by downgrading to 7.01 anyone else having this problem?
Subject: Bug in Domino 7.0.2 for the Sybase connector?
We have two development servers both running 6.5.5. We upgraded one to 7.0.2 in preparation for testing applications in R7. My application that uses Lotus Connectors within LotusScript is unable to make a Sybase connection after the upgrade. I used the Domino executable ndctest.exe to test the Sybase connectivity. The test works successfully on the 6.5.5 server. The test fails on the 7.0.2 server with the following error message… error - unable to load library libsybct. We will try going back to 7.0.1 to solve the issue. Will this be fixed in a fix pack or 7.0.3?
Subject: Similar Work around
As a temporary workaround, we replaced the Lotus\Domino\nsybase.dcx file after the upgrade with the same file from one of our 6.5.5 servers. This allowed the Lotus Connectors to make the connection to Sybase within LotusScript.
