BUG: Deleting incorrect document in mailbox

I’m using Notes 8.0.2 standard client. Mailbox design is also 8.0.2. The problem can be reproduced as below:

  1. Open your mailbox, inbox (sorted by date)

  2. Open any document to read, press ESC to close the document

  3. Press DELETE key on the keyboard to delete that mail document (focus is on it)

  4. The corresponding mail doc is not deleted, but the mail document on the bottom of the inbox (sorted by date, so it’s old mail)is deleted

  5. If the doc you wanted to delete is the 3. doc from the top, the 3. doc from the bottom is deleted.

I’ve test it on a 8.0.1 client. I didn’t see such problem.

Subject: Don’t see issue after applying IFR1 & CCH1

Running standard client 8.0.2 with Interim Features Release 1 and CCH1.Can not reproduce problem.

Subject: 8.5 PB2 affected as well

I am currently using 8.0.2 and 8.5PB2 client.Mail also with 8.0.2 and 8.5 mail template under both under XP/Vista can reproduce the issue.

Issue happen only sort by date. I tested if the date is not sort the mail is not remove incorrectly.

I upgraded my domino and notes client to 8.0.2 recently and I do not have this problem.

But my mail file was created when my domino is still in 8.0.1. Maybe I will created a new mailbox under 8.0.2 to test it out.
