I have spoken with CA regarding the restoration of this file and they are saying its a lotus domino problem. Basically all the backups using the BrightStor Domino Agent have been successful but when it comes to restoring the file it fails with the following error
E8603 06/06/2006 05:32:39 PM 205 4 Failed to write to database. (DBNAME=Blah Blah, EC=Unable to get message string for code ‘10064’.)
E8617 06/06/2006 05:34:18 PM 205 4 Failed to end restore. (DBNAME=Blah Blah, EC=Failed to bring the database online. File truncated - file may have been damaged)
This occurs on all the tapes even though the log says there were no errors during the backup process
Is there any way i can get this file back ? Is it a Domino problem or are Computer Associates passing the buck …
