Is there a method to block/remove a type of image from email within Lotus Domino/Notes? I would like to possibly block animated gif images (they cause our Wyse thin client devices lock up) that are embedded in email, not attachments.
I have searched the forums and Lotus help, but can’t seem to find anything relevant.
Notes & Domino 6.5.3 (soon 7.0.2)

do you have spam and virus protection? you should get protection that way…
barring that - you might have some luck with writing an agent on the server

Yes, we have anti-spam and anti-virus (a Barracuda), but it doesn’t allow filtering/removing an embeded image in an email that I can tell. I would think others with Wyse thin clients might experience this same problem…

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I am seeing it as well and can’t find a way to strip out such an image, in my specific case, animated image as rich text.
