Hi all,
I have a user running some flavour of Linux with the Linux Notes 8.0.2 Client. When he goes into prferences in his mail file some of the pages are just blank? One of the things we need to change is his dat format which at present is mmddyy and we want ddmmyy.
Have you come across this blank page issue before? All aut for the user on the mailfile is fine.

Subject: Try this in basic mode…
launch the notes client basic mode by running nlnotes.exe directly from the notes program folder. If the issue doesn’t reproduce in Basic mode, then the problem is specific to the eclipse client. If so, use Help–> support → view logs. Or, use Help → Support → View trace. Search these logs and trace for ‘severe’. There is a lot of info here, but you may be able to identify a specific plugin that may be having trouble and rename it. You can also just rename the entire data\workspace folder and restart your client. However, this will reset all eclipse prefs, so it’s more of a diagnostic test.If reproducible in Basic as well, the problem is with the core client. The issue sounds eclipse related ,however.
