Cannot find anythiong on this on the Blackberry forum so trying here:-
Have a fresh install of Blackberry desktop version 3.6.3.10 on a windows xp desktop with Notes client r651. BES on R651 server. User can only synchronise email . Cannot synchronise address book, calendar, or tasks. When try get “thers is no application configured for synchronisation” error. When try to configure PIM, select address book and any of the Lotus Notes entries, the OK button is greyed out. So cannot select Lotus otes address book. Have replaced the users PNAB, notes.ini, and desktop! No difference. Has anybody got a fix for this or even a fault finding procedure I have not tried please?

You need to load handheld software onto the device. You will most likely get this from the wireless vendor’s site. You load it onto the PC then when you do a sync it transfers to the device…or you have to load it with the application loader.

What type of client installation do you have (Single user, multiuser). I have found that when there is a single user installation, the desktop manager cannot find the notes files needed to sync the device because they are stored away in the doc and settings area of the os.

I may be mistaken, but I believe it is the multiuser install that uses the doc and settings area, not the single install.

did you get this resolved?
Subject: RE: Blackberry synchronisation
Nope still broke.
Strange thing is when I go to the users main pc, nad look at the PIM settings,The Notess address book, calendar and to do entries are all selectable as Notes 5/6. They still do not synchronize! But on my test machine where I have a client setup as the user, logged in as administrator and a copy of their notes.ini and names.nsf, I cannot select these options.
We are plannig on creating an empty mail file for this user and trying with that.
