Blackberry / Notes --> Out of Office

Hello,

using the MailDatabase with Editor Access and the Blackberry (BES) creates problems with the Out of Office Agent.

Since we have this problem in our company, I’m looking for a solution (besides the obvious → keep the Access rights on the Mail to Manager …).

We already have the newest Updates for BES and for Notes 7, but the Error is still there.

Interesting enough RIM doesn’t even seem to realise that there is a problem.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Try to sign agent “out of office” by server, may be it help, or agent run on behalh of server in design properties.

Ivan,

switching the OOO on or off from Blackberry does work and it works from Notes as well.

The problem is to do it once from Notes and then from Blackberry or vice versa.

This does not work due to the new features that came with the agents to switch on/off an agent even so you’re only editor.

The combination Notes / Blackberry is the problem.

Both on there own work fine (it’s nothing to due with access/sign rights)
