Blackberry Enterprise Server - log.nsf Logging Level

I feel like I must be missing something really obvious but I just can’t seem to find any information about this. How do you turn down the amount of information that Blackberry Enterprise Server writes to the Domino log (log.nsf) on the server? Our log ends up with hundreds of entries like this:

16/01/2007 21:03:45 Address Book, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49705, ID=321, Received response for sync request for user CN=User Name/O=Company

16/01/2007 21:03:45 Address Book, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49706, ID=305, Received response for sync request for user CN=User Name/O=Company

16/01/2007 21:03:45 Address Book, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49707, ID=161, Received response for sync request for user CN=User Name/O=Company

16/01/2007 21:03:45 Address Book, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49708, ID=65, Received response for sync request for user CN=User Name/O=Company

16/01/2007 21:03:45 Address Book, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49709, ID=148, Received response for sync request for user CN=User Name/O=Company

16/01/2007 21:03:45 Address Book, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49710, ID=153, Received response for sync request for user CN=User Name/O=Company

16/01/2007 21:03:45 Address Book, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49711, ID=144, Received response for sync request for user CN=User Name/O=Company

16/01/2007 21:03:45 Address Book, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49712, ID=157, Received response for sync request for user CN=User Name/O=Company

and this:

16/01/2007 21:06:16 Tasks, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49747, ID=22, unid=746EF9F4B7968F0080256DCB00058E34 nid=60A6 t=V m start=30/9/2004 12:01 rpt=CF5 punid=4015AD7EA277CBBC80256DC800489C31 pnid=1F2A for user CN=User Name/O=Company

16/01/2007 21:06:16 Tasks, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49748, ID=23, unid=80256DC8004848B280256DC8004848B2 nid=670E t=V start=31/10/2003 0:00 rpt=CF5 punid=52DD0F45F2BA14D580256DC800480061 pnid=29CA for user CN=User Name/O=Company

16/01/2007 21:06:16 Tasks, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49749, ID=24, unid=80256DC80048C72080256DC80048C720 nid=6712 t=V m start=6/1/2004 12:01 rpt=CF5 punid=4015AD7EA277CBBC80256DC800489C31 pnid=1F2A for user CN=User Name/O=Company

16/01/2007 21:06:16 Tasks, Add(Outbound), CmdId=49750, ID=25, unid=93B5E37A055712C9802570FF00058FC4 nid=7A3A t=Jr start=26/1/2007 12:01 rpt=CF5 punid=068E00307D783A0A802570FB004245D6 pnid=1442 for user CN=User Name/O=Company

which makes it difficult to see if the Domino server is actually trying to tell me anything! I’ve tried changing the log settings for the Blackberry server in the Blackberry management program but that didn’t change anything.

I did manage to find something about modifying HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Research In Motion/BlackBerry/Server/DebuglogLevel, but this registry key doesn’t exist on my server. I modified a similar one which looked like it might do what I want but it didn’t make any difference.

I’d obviously like there to be a certain amount of logging for troubleshooting purposes, but I don’t think I need to know several times a second that the server has received a sync request!

If anyone can shed any light on this I’d be very grateful!

Thanks,

Emily.
