I have a Domino server Windows 2000 (6.5.1) which contains mailfiles and also the Black Berry 4.0 server in Notes Domain X which receives SMTP mail for Domain X only. It’s all setup and working fine for these mail files. I have another server on Windows NT (5.0.11) in Notes Domain Y which receives SMTP mail for Domain Y only. They are both located on the same physical network.
If I were to replicate a mail file from the 5.0.11 server to the 6.5.1 server, would the BlackBerry server route new messages to a device connected to this mail file? It sort of seems to me like the routing of BB messages happens at the router even before the message arrives into the user mailbox in which case a replica might not work. I get them on my BB first before I even see them in my Notes mailbox but please tell me if you know it works otherwise.
So, is replication enough or does it require the router to deliver a message to it via a connection or other doc or configuration?
