Big problem with replication

HiWe just see yesterday that replication is not running correctly between our servers.

Replication document is OK.

the replication is every day at 22h PM for the folder \mail.

the problem is that the replication is not done every day for some databases.

if we search in replication logs, all replication for a user, we see that for this mail database , the replication has been done only on 26/02, 27/02 and on 15/03.

The replication was not done for the other days.

We have no trace in the logs.

And the problem is the same for all users.

some days the replication is done but not every day. and the replication days are not the same between the users.

Do you know this problem?

thank you very much if someone can help me

regards

Christelle

Subject: Cut-off date?

Try to remove that setting on a few files, might do the trick.

Check your replication schedules. If your server is set to start replication with something else, it will stop the first replication and start the new one.

You have choices:

  1. set 2 replicators working (in the configuration document) - they will work in parallel, but may need a bit more RAM on the server.

  2. Re-work your replication schedule to give this replication event more time to complete.

  3. Wait. The databases will eventually ‘catch up’. Maybe.

NB Also check that the connection document doesn’t have a ‘replication time limit’ set.
