We are about to introduce a new product for integrating Lotus Notes/Domino into Microsoft SQL 2000 Reporting Services and we are looking for beta test sites. This product will extend Microsoft Reporting Services in three ways.
-
Notes/Domino Data Adapter: A fast, robust, and feature-rich data connector that allows you to query Notes and Domino databases from within Microsoft Reporting Services. Based on our existing Proposion N2N data driver (Products A-Z), this connector supports an extended version of SQL that accesses the unique features on Notes/Domino. Our adapter plugs into the Report Designer and may be used as a Data Source for any real-time or scheduled report.
-
Notes Mail Delivery Adapter: Allows any scheduled reports in Microsoft Reporting Services to be routed to subscribers via native Notes mail. This solves the report corruption issues that users currently encounter when using the generic SMTP delivery adapter.
-
Notes Database Delivery Adapter: Allows any scheduled reports in Microsoft Reporting Services to be deposited into Notes/Domino databases. This flexible solution allows for saving of user-defined fields and other report metadata into the resulting Notes documents and allows companies to build powerful report presentation/archiving applications.
All three adapters support executing with pre-configured system-wide Notes credentials or with per-user Notes credentials.
If you are interested in being a beta test site, please contact us at support@proposion.com and let us know what your requirements are and which adapters you are primarily interested in. Also, it is not too late to submit a few more feature requests!
Thanks,
- Stephen Walch
