Question for you wonderful programmers. Is there an easy down and dirty way to create a pop up banner when a certain email arrives on a client machine? The end of our physical year is the end of the month. Mgt wants a pop up or banner to appear when an email appears from one sender. This would be cute if I was a programmer or they gave me more than a day’s notice. IBM says it cant be done. Any ideas? All would be welcome.

Hmmm… personally I don’t want to make changes to the mail templates as so many of them are in use in our organization (and perhaps in yours too). Suggest to the user that they go to Tools → Preferences then click on the Colors tab. They can turn the emails from that sender a nice bright color in the mail view. Or have them add a rule that when mail comes in from that person, change importance to high? That won’t produce a popup though.
