Is it possible for iNotes to open with the sidebar open to Sametime Contacts? I have tried the “iNotes Prorammatic URL Usage” http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/dominowiki.nsf/dx/iNotes_Programmatic_URL_Usage http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/dominowiki.nsf/dx/iNotes_Programmatic_URL_Usage without success.

Right, you can open the sidebar, but there is no URL command to open the Sametime contacts … especially since they are loaded on delay.
This opens the sidebar:
