Hi,I have a Notes Database which is accessed via Internet Explorer and https.
AutoFill is enabled in IE and working as expected on several other http resp. https pages (eg. web.de).
My problem is now, that autofill is not working for the fields in my database. I also created an empty database using the discussion template and it’s not working there either. Makes no difference if the databases are accessed locally or off the server.
Does anybody have an idea how to solve this?
best regards
Brigitte
Subject: autofill does not work with https by design
it is a browser feature which can behave differently in different browsers and if they have the google toolbar etc. or other patches. I think what you are seeing on web.de or other sites is an http page where you enter some information which is remembered, then you get redirected to the https site.

it seems to a browser option and a website feature.
The browser option seems to be set correctly, as it’s working for other sites.
I’m looking for a way to enable the website feature (if there is one …)
e.g. I type “Test” on www.google.com (not Toolbar!) and if I searched for “TestA”. “TestB” and “TestC” before, the browser displays a drop-down box containing these values.
It needs to work for IE only as other browsers are not supported on the intranet anyway.
