Authors field and wildcard

Hi all,I have a form with an Authors computed Field with this formula: “*/”+@Name([O];@userName)

I’d like that, once the doc is saved, everybody in the same organization should be able to modify the doc.

Unfortunaly the formula isn’t ok… any idea? I tought the wildcards were allowed in the authors fields…

you should make the field ComputedWhenComposed. Your formula works for me.

You’re right, Paul! It works, but I don’t understand why… what’s the difference between the two fields? In both cases the value is the same…

if you make it computed the field will try and recalculate every time the doc is opened. cwc fields are computed once when the doc is forst created, which is what you want.
