I’ve recently upgrade my notes client and template to Note 6.0.2 CF1.
Since then, I’m unable to so much as see audio attachment icons in incoming internet emails, though if I do View>Show>PageSource, the raw mime message clearly shows the audio/wav or audio/mpeg attachment (Content-disposition: inline).
I have uninstalled Netscape communicator. I’m not using autoplay. I do have Mozilla, Mozilla Firebird and Mozilla Firefox installed if that makes any difference.
Old emails that had audio attachments which I was able to view/play fine in Notes5 are affected as well–no attachment is shown. There’s hint of the binary data in one of the Body fields when I access document properties under the triangle tab.
I’ve tested sending audio files with several different mail clients on external mail accounts to my Notes, and it seems Notes is having problems with anything audio related, but not having any problems with things like images and Office docs.
What can I do to correct this? Coworkers who have made this upgrade don’t all have this problem, so I’m not sure how I can figure out exactly what’s going on in my setup. Where does Notes hide their mime/type handling configuration?
TIA for any information!
