I have a mail-in application database that will receive a mail-in document from the notes mailbox, the email may contain an attachment.
Now, the problem is that when I open mail-in document with an attachment with a customized form, after I edit and save the document, the attachment file name will become ATTXXXXX, with a prefix “ATT”. Even I just open the document in read mode, there is one more field “$FILE” found in the document properties.

Actually, I have tried to remove all unnecessary notes item fields in the mail-in document, and rename the form name, but the problem still exist.
Anyone have idea on above problem, I just want to preserve the original file name instead of my last approach (Detach the attachment and attach it again)…Many thanks.
