Since the 8.5 client attachements are shown on top of the mail. Now the printout does not show the attachment name and symbol. Earlier versions were capable of showing that information. Please reenable this feature !

For those of your users who require this I suggest that you change the Message Format field on the person document to ‘Prefers Rich Text’. please read the help text about what this change does if you intend to implement this .

Changing the person’s document to ‘Prefers Notes Rich Text’ is not an option in our environment. We need to keep this setting at ‘Keep in senders format’ due to some html messages which are generated on are I5 model gets send to notes recipients. If we change this settings these messages gets scrambled and do not resemble the original html markup.
Just a remark: When you print a mail from within the Inbox View the attachment will be visible on the print. When you open the mail (double click it) and do a print the attachment is not vissible.
This can cause huge problems when people rely on a printed message (etc keep a file on a specific matter on printed pages).
Can you please give us a fix for this in a next minor release upgrade for 8.5. Guess where not alone on this one.
Related to this is the matter that when outside people send mail with an attachment it is located on top of the body. But when internal users send mail with attachemtns to colleaques the attachment appears below (or just forward an incomming mail to someone inside the organisation). It already happend that some important attachment was overlooked because people rely on the attachment to appear on top of the body. Are there any steps taken to also fix this in a future release?

For anyone running across this, we are running 8.5.1FP1 client and server, and it seems this is fixed. The attachment name and icon now print at the top just as displayed in the client.
