Attached files in lower case

Hi,

since a few days (nothing changed knowingly) I have a strange behaviour.

All received file attachments are shown (and downloaded) in lower case in Verse.

This also occurs in file upload controls of several XPages applications.

Example:

Sent from my iCloud account:

...is shown in Verse like this:

Same problem when I upload this attachment to one of my XPages applications, save the document and reload it:

Via the Notes client the attachments are shown correctly:

...in my mailbox:

...uploaded to the application:

So it seems to be a web behaviour. But it occurs in Chrome, Edge and Firefox - because of this I suspect it's a Domino problem?!

My environment:

Domino Server 14.0 FP2 on Windows Server 2016 Datacenter with Verse 3.2.2

Any idea what the reason could be?

Hi @Pierre Laule

The behavior you are observing is working as designed. In the past, there was an issue related to the file attachment corruption, which was investigated via SPR# TMAICWHDAY and it is fixed in 11.0.1 FP9, 12.0.2 FP4 and 14.0 FP2 release, and because of this fix, the behavior is expected.

Sorry, but this seems not to be the reason. On a Domino 14.0 FP2 Server of one of my customers it doesn't occur.

If it doesn't occur on one server and occurs on another server then I would suggest you to open a ticket with HCL Customer Support for further investigation.

I would suggest creating a support ticket for this since you have a working and non-working environment.
