Attached files in Discussion85.ntf not opening

I have set up a forum with the Discussion85 template. I have users that like the look and feel of the database - but…

When opening an attachment (any MS Office doc type) in IE7 or IE8 it does not open the applcation, just shows text(!) in the browser

In Firefox it works OK.

Has anybody else expeienced this?

I understand it will be fixed in the next release.

for pointing me to that link. It almost solved my problem.The difference compared to Firefox is that in IE the attachment opens in the browser while in Firefox it opens the real application.
