Associating an NSF file to open with Lotus Notes on win 2k

Hi,

I am having a problem calling an NSF file from the actions menu in Notes. The entry pointing to an NSF file was added in the notes.ini under AddINmenus and it apperas in the action menu but when you launch it. The application does not load.

I set the File association in windows to open all NSF files with Notes.exe but on closing Notes this association gets lost. again i have to reset it back this happens only in windows2000 but works in Windows XP and other OS.

Is this a Notes issue or an issue with the OS, The notes i am running on is notes 5.0

Doe sthe user have admin access to win2k , that ypu are logged in as? If not what level of access do they have?
