Are parentheses required in the agent name of @Command( [ToolsRunMacro] on the web?

@Command( [ToolsRunMacro] ; agent ) vs. @Command([ToolsRunMacro];“(hiddenagentname)”)

I’m calling the following agent using @Command([ToolsRunMacro]; from a couple of buttons on a form.

Agent Properties:

Name:

- RunThisAgent

Options:

- Shared

Runtime:

-Trigger:  On Event

--Agent List Selection

-Target:   None

The agent is listed in the design view with parentheses “(RunThisAgent)” . . . as expected.

To my understanding this Agent is hidden.

From the Notes Client all works as expected:

If I click the button with the agent name entered with parentheses @Command([ToolsRunMacro]; “(RunThisAgent)”), the agent runs

If I click the button with the agent name entered without parentheses @Command([ToolsRunMacro]; “RunThisAgent”), I get a dialogbox with “The specified agent does not exist”

However from the browser, both formulas will call the agent successfully, regardless if I place them in a button or in the WebQuerySave event.

Am I missing something here? I always thought that the parentheses were part of the agent’s name when calling a hidden agent.

Any input would be appreciated.
