Archiving server-to-server

Does a user needs “Create Database” rights on the server when setting up a server-to-server archiving ?Archiving is configured through a program document running Compact -A.

I thought that LocalDomainServers would be enough to be able to create the archive files on the server, because the Compact -A is run on the server, but apparently not.

Subject: Archiving server-to-server

Server A runs compact -AServer B is the archive server

The user does not need access to create DBs on the server B. Server A runs this, make sure that server A has access rights to create DBs on Server B. Check your logs, is the task even running? Flag some docs in a mail file for archiving, then from console : load compact mail\somemailfile.nsf -A, does it create the archive (if not already there), and does it archive anything.
