We have a user who archives his mail based on Selection - he has been doing this for some time to a local archive.
He has found that not all of the documents are copied into the archive db, but that they no longer exist on the mail file either. A look at the session log for the archive shows that 79 documents were copied to the archive and 82 were deleted from the database.
I have checked the settings and they are default - he is selecting messages in small batches.
I have gone through the archiving posts here and can see nothing related to this, anyone got any ideas ?
