"Archive Now" is not working

In Lotus Note 6.5.5, it has been encountered some troubles to transfer email messages to “Archive” file. If I select “Actions”, “Archive” and “Archive Now” then I have been asked that “Do you wish to archive now?” then I click “Yes”. Afterward, none of email messages were moved to “Archive” file though it has not appears any error messages.

In “Archive Setting” of my Archive file (“File” → “Archive” → “Settings…”), although it has been tried to change to “not modified after 1 day” and then even I select “File”, “Database”, “Archive…” but old email messages are still remain in Mail file. None of them were relocated to Archive file.

As informed above, I am very much appreciated if you would give me some advices to solve this problem.

Subject: “Archive Now” is not working

Is this server based archiving. Is so, there should be an archive log database for each user. See what it says in there. Are you sure that whoever is doing the archiving has relevant access in the archives ACL?

If you look at your archive settings - criteria tab, there should be two default settings “default for last modified and default for expired”. Are either of these enabled? (There should be a check mark to the left of the entry). If they are not enabled there should be an enable button along the right hand side of the window.
